My mission is to open people’s eyes, hearts, and hands to what I see, feel, and touch as I photograph the spirits and conditions of people who are seemingly less fortunate. My goal is to help us move from pity to inspiration—to be amazed, encouraged and motivated by the strength, commitment and struggles of people who live differently than we do in "developed countries."

The human race is the only race. We are all the same, even though we think we’re different. We’re here for a while and then we’re gone. We all want the same things in this world: love, respect and security. I consider my work a success when it raises awareness, compassion and tolerance for all people and our common goals.
